Erythema multiforme on the feet. Erythema multiforme is – as the name implies – a multiform skin eruption. In this patient, it affects the dorsal aspects of the feet. Cockade or target lesions are seen around the margins of the erythema. At this stage, cutaneous lesions are seen widely on other skin areas as well, mostly affecting the extensor surfaces, knees and cubital areas. A course of systemic glucocorticoids will settle the symptoms, even if the role of these drugs in the treatment is under discussion.
