Beau's lines is a phenomenon where nail growth is disturbed as a consequence of a major catastrophe in the bodily homeostasis (major bleeding, infection). The disturbance advances as a transverse groove towards the tip of the nail, synchronically in all nails. The only treatment needed is to let the time pass.
