Perioral dermatitis at the nose wings. Reddening of the skin and the papules are often a long-lasting problem. Dermatitis in this location may also be a symptom of rosacea as well as of seborrhoeic dermatitis. In these conditions, dermatitis is usually also found in other facial areas, which makes differential diagnostics easier. In any case, the patient usually benefits from a 1–3-month course of tetracycline, at least for a while.
