Papilloma, i.e. a benign epithelial tumour on the palpebral conjunctiva of an eye, with the typical cauliflower-like appearance. It very seldom turns malignant. Some of the papillomaviruses is often the causative agent. A papilloma may disappear spontaneously, as regular skin warts do. It may also be removed surgically or by cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen.
