Lichen planus on the metatarsus, with a violet hue and a slightly glossy surface. Along the edges, some amount of the light-coloured mesh-like pattern typical of lichen planus is discernible. Examine also the patient’s wrists and oral mucosa which are typical locations of lichen planus.
