Keratosis pilaris in its favourite location in the outer-upper arm. It is also common in the lateral surfaces of the thighs and in the buttocks. Folliculocentric keratotic papules make the skin rough and bumpy and there is variable erythema. This disorder of keratinization is very common in young people with atopic skin. It is a feature of the skin and there is no treatment for it but summer sun and use of emollients will smoothen the skin a bit.
