Chronic eczema in the palm of the hand. Chronic hand eczema often is a continuum from previous irritant dermatitis. The eczema is vesicular at times and cracking and scaling when drying. Treatment often requires a combination of several methods to reach a reasonable result. Treatment is symptomatic unless e.g. an occupational allergen happens to be detected as the maintaining factor.
