SCLE, subacute cutanoeus lupus erythematosus is an ucommon, photosensitive, autoimmune connective tissue disease. Serologic autoimmune abnormalities are common. This patient was unresponsive to topical corticoids or oral antimalarials, but rapid and complete response was achieved with oral acitretin.
