Telangiectasia and a sclerosis-like change is seen on the side of the nose. The patient suffers from widespread (more than 3 cm wide) morphea-type basal cell carcinoma, the most difficult-to-diagnose and most dangerous form of basal cell carcinoma. Excision with peroperatively controlled wide margins is the therapy of choice.
