Typical outlook of atopic dermatitis ("Crusta lactea") in a small child. If the eruption extends over wide areas of the skin under the age of 1 (- 2) years, investigations for a possible food allergy should be performed. In later age, specific food allergy plays less of a role in skin symptoms.
