Pretibial myxoedema in the hyperthyroid state in an elderly male patient. In addition to the lesions in the tibial region, the dorsal aspects of both big toes have developed -pads- diffusely filled with myxoid material. Spontaneous partial healing after reaching the euthyroid state was noticed over the course of one year.
