Severe atopic dermatitis around the eye - an atopic blepharitis in an adult woman. This can develop without any obvious allergy, but the possibility of airborne allergens (cat, dog, cattle) or delayed allergies (cosmetics, topical remedies or emollients) should be investigated. The vicinity of the eye limits the selection of topical corticoid therapeutics to those of low potency.
