Dermatitis herpetiformis, "coeliac disease of the skin". A typical finding is an intensely itching, bullous eruption, most often located on the knees, elbows and sacral region. The lesions respond very rapidly to oral dapsone, but it is beneficial to start a gluten-free diet – lifelong.
