Pustulosis palmoplantaris may lead to considerable difficulty in daily life. The painful and often large pustules are also a social problem. Topical corticosteroids or calcipotriol should be tried; oral tetracyclines, acitretin, even cyclosporin-A are other therapeutic alternatives. The response to PUVA is variable.
