Psoriasis vulgaris, large plaque type, in a young boy. For wide psoriasis the use of potent corticosteroids should be restricted because of the risk of systemic absorption and a generalized pustular flare of the von Zumbusch type. In children, calcipotriol, or UV therapy are preferred.
