Lichen (ruber) planus may affect also flexural skin, here seen in the armpit. The patient had the same symptoms also in the inguinal region (next picture) and on occipital skin. One week of therapy with a potent topical corticosteroid eliminated itching and inflammatory signs, but the dark colour remains for some months.
