This might be called "nummular" or "infectious" eczema. Antibiotics, topical corticosteroids, possibly combined with UV-therapy are helpful. The disease tends to be more therapy-resistant in smokers. It is unusual to find relevant contact allergy in a patient with this dermatosis.
