Vitiligo on the forehead and scalp. The person depicted here has naturally grayed hair, i.e. the hair colour is not associated with vitiligo. The spotty pigmentation is due to pigment cells that have been preserved around hair follicles; these cells produce pigment and may reduce the size of vitiligo if they increase in number.
