Stretch marks or striae in the armpit. Striae are usually associated with rapid weight gain, muscular growth or pregnancy. The location depicted here suggests an adverse effect caused by long-term use of a potent corticosteroid ointment as one differential diagnostic option. Fresh striae are reddish and gradually become more light-coloured.
