Pronounced dyshidrotic eczema (pompholyx, eczema dyshidroticum) with large bullae. Aetiology is unknown. Fungal infections never cause excessive symptoms in the hands, even if dermatophytosis in the feet may cause immunologic mycid reaction in the hands. In such a case, the bullae are not this large.
