Malignant lentigo in the auricle. The slowly growing skin lesion is of mixed colour and asymmetric. The light-coloured areas are signs of immunological regression. At the edges, pigment mesh structure is visible confirming that the lesion originates in the pigment cells. The whole lesion must be excised.
