Soft fibroma, polypus fibrocutaneous, achrocordon and skin tag are examples of the numerous names given to this usually harmless benign tumour, most often found in flexural areas. In this case, spontaneous "cure" occurred because of the torsion and consequent ischaemic necrosis of the polyp.
