Sebaceous hyperplasia is a totally benign condition, which may closely mimic basal cell carcinoma in the initial phase. The central opening of sebaceous hyperplasia helps in diagnostics. Usually there are multiple lesions. If necessary, cautious cryosurgery with liquid nitrogen may eliminate the lesion(s).
