Periocular dermatitis, a variant of perioral dermatitis, is quite uncommon in males. Very typically it leaves a narrow rim of 0.5 - 1 cm outside the lid margin unaffected. The eruption responded in one month to oral tetracycline. Differential diagnosis could be Acne agminita.
