Pitted keratolysis on the sole. Sweating feet and occlusive boots may lead to bacterial overgrowth in plantar skin. The "punched out" depressions of the skin can be healed also by using aluminium chloride-containing antiperspirants and by eliminating occlusion. The main differential diagnosis is plantar mycosis caused by T. rubrum.
