The angular region of the lips is a common site for impetigo contagiosa as well as for atopic dermatitis. In young persons, both diseases are typical at this location, often causing a mixed disease, as here. The eradication of bacterial infection (here S. aureus with follicular "satellites") as well as therapy and prevention of dermatitis are needed.
