Handicapping oedema with secondary eczema in an adolescent man is probably due to congenital lymphatic insufficiency (Milroy). Venography did not reveal any abnormality. Therapy with intermittent pressure equipment (Ventipress TM) resulted in temporary relief, but the "cure" was immediately lost. Supporting stockings help satisfactorily.
