Juvenile xanthogranuloma (formerly nevo-xantho-endothelioma) is a benign tumour of childhood. The yellow-red-brown, half-ball type, asymptomatic tumour is self-healing. In clinically typical cases it can be left untouched - also for the best cosmetic outcome.
