Pustulosis plantaris on the medial aspect of the plantar skin. The disease is commonly bilateral and also affects the palms. There is no curative treatment. Topical corticosteroids, calcipotriol, oral tetracyclines, retinoids or cyclosporin-A may be beneficial. The risk-benefit and cost-benefit ratios should be considered with oral therapies.
