A patch of itchy neurodermatitis in its typical location: the skin of the leg. Redness, scratch signs and lichenification are common features of this chronic disease. Potent topical corticoid covered with a textile occlusion impregnated with zinc oxide paste is very effective. It is used for 2 - 3 periods 1 week at a time. However, recurrence is common.
